The sonic output of Berlin-based DJ, producer and radio host CCL is truly unique. While their sets take you through many different genres, one element clearly remains central: their gift for storytelling within both dancefloor and listening contexts. Their sounds sway between heavy club materials and delicate musical textures. CCL’s style and technique emphasizes the interplay between weight and weightlessness, and cathartic feeling. You can hear this in their mixes for Unsound, Discwoman and The Lodge, and in their own productions. Recently they started a monthly residency with Refuge Radio called Liquidtime. Enough reasons to invite them to be part of our club night in Garage Noord on Saturday 18 June.
