Karoliina Pärnänen explores the transcendental, meditative and tribal qualities of electronic music. Her dynamic sets encourage to let go of our cerebral intellect and instead tap into the primal, physical wisdom of our sensuality. Karoliina’s simultaneous interest in old healing traditions and in modern, virtual techno-utopias produces a sound that is at the same time ancient and futuristic, organic and machinic.
She is fascinated by the deep and obscure dimensions of the mind and the transcendental power of sound to take us there. Weaving together a raw and mystical, emotionally loaded yet danceable soundscape, Karoliina blends the borders of electronic music by flirting with a rich variety of genres and tempos, taking inspiration from industrial, tribal and celestial sounds.
Karoliina Pärnänen is a resident DJ at RRFM (NL) and Good Times Bad Times Radio (NL), and has been performing at festivals and venues such as Flow Festival (FI), Kosmos Festival (FI) and KitKat Club (DE).
