Richard Seymour, one of the UK’s leading public intellectuals, is a North Irish Marxist writer and broadcaster now living in London. He is a founding editor of Salvage, a bi-annual journal of revolutionary arts and letters. In 2016 Seymour completed his PhD in sociology at the London School of Economics, titled ‘’Cold War anticommunism and the defence of white supremacy in the southern United States’’. Seymour’s most recent books include The Disenchanted Earth (2022) and The Twittering Machine (2019). His writing can be found in the New York Times, the Guardian, the New Statesman, the London Review of Books, ABC Australia, Al Jazeera, In These Times and other publications.
